COVID-19 – PANDEMIC POLICY

JTA Families,

In order to reopen as safely as possible, JTA has established new policies and procedures. These policies are effective beginning on June 15, 2020 and will be in place until further notice. Please read each item below, sign, and return on your first day at reattendance/attendance. Without this form your child/ children will NOT be accepted.

I, __________________________________, parent of ___________________, wish to begin attending on or after June 15, 2020. Full tuition will resume on June 15, 2020 or our first day of reopening.

The following list is true for my family:

• Staff will sign my child in and out.

• I will not bring unnecessary items into the program. No backpacks or personal items. This includes the storing of car seats and strollers.

• I will call/text ahead of picking up so my child will be ready to reduce contact with other families.

• I will not enter JTA, except for preauthorized circumstances as defined by the program Director/Owner.

• If I bring my child, it is because everyone in our home is healthy and symptom free, with no known exposure to COVID19.

• I will wait for my child to be screened for signs of illness daily before I leave the property.

• Fever reducers will not be given to my child on ANY day of attendance, regardless of reason.

• If my child shows signs of illness during care, I, or another authorized person, will retrieve my child within 30 minutes.

• If my child is sent home with illness, they are not able to return for 48 hours.

• I will wait my turn to approach the front entrance and practice proper social distancing.

• I will use hand sanitizer at the front entrance on both my hands and my child’s hands before dropping off.

• I will use hand sanitizer on my hands prior to picking up, and wash our hands as soon as we return home.

• Only one guardian is permitted per family at drop off and at pick up.

• I agree of the new changes of children’s schedules, activities and daily program procedures.

• I understand if there is an active case of COVID19 at JTA, the center may need to close for the 14 day quarantine period. We will seek guidance from the Division for Child Care of Kentucky.

• I understand that hours of operation will change to 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in order to adhere to new guidelines/regulations and for adequate cleaning/preparation for the following day. We have not been told the duration of the emergency regulations, but heard at least 90 days.

• I understand this situation is fluid and subject to change per state, local authorities, and program needs.

• I understand failure to follow these new safety guidelines may result in termination of services without refund of tuition fees.
